Regarding the little mouse:
It was all of 1" in length, yet he had the heart of a lion! He sat there on the side of the road and didn't stop eating while I snapped off multiple photos of him. I was the one that left, he continued on with his business.
I just put my digital Canon Power Shot A620 on telephoto & automatic - no drop down in stop; nuthin.'
