snowflake sea

Snowflake dandelions, send feathers to my dreams
Wake up waters from long ago and send into gorging streams
Purging, scoring jagged rocks, on the downhill slide
Smoothing, polishing worn out thoughts Taking from the rivers to the turning tides
Ocean call my name, call me back to be
To swim the kelp beds of my ancestors
Profess my name to the seaCleaning foam from seaweed
With sands from the beginning of time
From shore to shore of our ancient world
To the pearl in the oyster born
